Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We’ll review what you have, talk through what is and isn’t working, and create a new design around your current business. We’ll plan the transition with you, including your domain and the content you want to keep.
Do you only work with Michigan businesses?
No. Michigan is home, but we work with businesses and people wherever they’re based. Tell us what you need, whether it’s a business website, personal brand, portfolio, or a redesign.
What does the monthly price include?
Your plan includes custom design, development, hosting, SSL, maintenance, and ongoing support. Starter includes up to 5 pages and one content update each month. Business includes up to 10 pages, additional features, and unlimited reasonable content updates.
How long will my website take?
We confirm your target launch date in the written project summary after reviewing the scope and the content you can supply. We confirm the build schedule after receiving the agreed content. If content or approvals are delayed, we discuss the revised date with you.
What counts as a content update?
Changes to your existing text, images, opening hours, or service information. New pages, major redesigns, new functionality, and third-party services are discussed separately. We’ll confirm the scope before doing additional work.
Can I keep my domain?
Absolutely. We can use your existing domain, and it stays in your name. If you need a new one, we’ll help you get it set up and confirm any registration costs before you start.
What is the commitment?
Monthly plans bill at checkout and each month after. Once design work begins, the first three billing periods counted from checkout are the minimum commitment; a later launch does not restart that term. Annual plans cover 12 months. Cancel through our cancellation request form. Service continues through the applicable paid term, then the website goes offline. Your domain and content you supplied stay yours. Read the full cancellation and refund details.
Do I own the website?
You keep your domain and materials you supply, such as your logo, photographs, and copy. The plan provides a website hosted and managed by Lake State while your subscription is active; it is not a purchase of transferable website source files. When service ends, the website goes offline. Any separate transfer arrangement must be agreed in writing before purchase.
Does a booking form reserve an appointment?
A request form sends the preferred appointment details to your business for a reply. A live calendar, instant confirmation, appointment deposits, online ordering, or a store is a separate requirement we review before you pay. We identify any integration and third-party fees in your project summary.
What if I want changes or need to stop?
Two consolidated rounds of design revisions are included before launch. If you cancel before design work starts, we refund the website-plan payments collected and stop future charges. If Lake State cannot deliver the agreed website before launch, we refund the project payments and stop the subscription. See the service details for the full policy.
Do I need to choose a plan right now?
No. You can start with a conversation. We’ll talk through your goals and help you choose the right scope. Preparing an inquiry does not require payment.
